I live and paint in Somerset. My work is mainly related to landscape/seascape, carousels and still life.  I am drawn to the North Somerset Coast. The rugged beauty interplays with the light and water. I am mesmerised by the contrast presented by Hinkley Point, with its industrial presence against the natural environment. Butlins, adds a vibrant layer to the area and ties with my fascination with the fair. These elements inform my work as I strive to convey the connection between the land and its mainly recent  history, through my paintings.
